3 INGREDIENT PEACH DUMP CAKE

I have always wanted to make a dump cake and now is a perfect time. Our kitchen is being remodeled and we have been kitchen-less for 2 months now. I have wanted to bake and cook this entire time and it is a little tougher. So that being said, a crock pot dump cake was a perfect idea. I went over to my grandparents’ house and my grandma reminded me of the idea. She literally shuffled out all the ingredients for me to take home and get it made. Let’s get into how to make it:

This recipe takes a whopping 3 ingredients. Peaches, cake, and butter. You can use fresh peaches or canned, whichever you have on hand.  Also, you can interchange this recipe with any fruit and complimentary cake flavor. 

Ever since my family discovered these crock pot liners we can’t get enough. It makes cleaning up that much easier, especially without a kitchen. They have them pretty much everywhere and they are inexpensive. ANYWAYS, the first step is to pour your peaches in the bottom of the pot. 

Next, dump the cake mix over the top of the peaches and spread it so it’s even. 

Then cut your butter into little squares and spread it over the entire top. 

You let it bake/ cook for about 2 – 2 and 1/2 hours on high or until it gets golden brown.

Topping it with ice cream makes it the perfect combination of warm and cold and savory and sweet. 


I am most definitely trying this recipe with chocolate cake and pudding next. (I am addicted to chocolate) oh maybe some fresh raspberries! I recommend this recipe to anyone and everyone. It is perfect for so many different occasions, a lazy night at home, a party recipe, and a special occasion. I promise once this kitchen is done, there will be so many recipes coming out, you won’t be able to keep track! Amazing Peach Dump Cake Dessert

Prep Time 5 minutes

Cook Time 2 hours

Total Time 2 hours 5 minutes

Servings 10 people

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 24 oz jar Peaches

  • 1 box Yellow Cake Mix

  • 1/2 cup Butter

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Begin by plugging in your crockpot and putting a crockpot liner in.

  2. Pour the jar of peaches (any fruit) into the bottom of the pot. You can dump everything in, including the juices.

  3. Next, dump the cake mix over the top and spread it so it is evenly spread.

  4. Then, slice the butter into squares and lay over the top of the cake mix.

  5. Then cover and let bake for about 2 hours or until crispy brown.

  6. Enjoy!

*If you are deciding to bake this in an oven, just use a baking dish and preheat the oven to 350 degrees. It should take half the time to bake. *
