STRAWBERRY BANANA & BLUEBERRY SMOOTHIES

This recipe is absolutely perfect when you want a refresher on hot summer days and don’t want to leave the house. You can really interchange any of the ingredients to go with what you already have on hand. Today, the main ingredients are strawberry, blueberry and banana.


Take the strawberries, ice, yogurt, and juice then blend on high. 

Tip: Using ice cream would make the smoothie really creamy but all I had was yogurt.

This is what the blueberry mixture looks like before blending. It’s a combination of blueberry, ice, yogurt and juice.


At the last second, I added a banana. Why not?

In each cup, I added half strawberry and half blueberry.


For extra fun. I added whip cream and cut some strawberries for extra cuteness. 


This recipe was really simple and really fast. If you’re in a pinch for time just mix together one flavor. What I love most is that you can use any juice you have or any yogurt, juice or fruits. Strawberry & Blueberry/Banana Smoothies

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups Greek Yogurt *for creamier smoothies use vanilla ice cream

  • 3 cups Pineapple Juice

  • 1 Banana

  • 1 cup Fresh or Frozen Blueberries *if you use frozen you will need less ice

  • 2 cups Fresh of Frozen Strawberries *if you use frozen you will need less ice

  • 6 cups Ice

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Grab your blender and combine 3 cups of ice, 1 cup of greek yogurt, 1 and 1/2 cups of pineapple juice and 2 cups of strawberries.

  2. Blend on high and wait until fully combined.

  3. Grab your cups and layer the strawberry flavor to fill each of the cups half way.

  4. Clean the blender out and add 3 cups of ice, 1 cup of greek yogurt, 1 and 1/2 cups of pineapple juice, 1 cup of blueberries and 1 banana.

  5. Blend on high and wait until fully combined.

  6. Grabbing the cups again, fill the other half with the blueberry and banana mixture.

  7. Top with whip cream and enjoy!
