A mason jar with red juice and a straw sits on a wooden table. Coconut water, lime, orange juice, sea salt, and hibiscus water. The sun casts shadows, and a wooden fence forms the background.

Heading down to Coachella this week and that means its time for a hydration drink! We will be camping at Coachella which definitely just increases the need for extreme hydration. I am going to batch make this in a giant jug but this recipe makes one serving!

Some call these drinks natures electrolytes but I definitely like this as a replacement for sugary electrolyte drinks with fillers. Most importantly its a nice treat to cool down during hot days.

This recipe is hydrating, full of antioxidants, and vitamin C!

INGREDIENTS

1 cup Coconut Water

½ cup Hibiscus Tea, brewed and cooled

½ Lime, juiced

¼ cup Orange Juice

1-2 tsp. Agave

Sea Salt, a pinch

Variations

Sparkling: Top with sparkling water for a fizzy mocktail.

Paloma Style: Use grapefruit juice instead of orange juice.

Creamy: Add a splash of coconut cream.

Strong: Add a shot of tequila if you're feeling wild! (might be counterintuitive to the hydration benefits but do you!)

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Combine ingredients in a glass and stir. Add ice and enjoy!

This hits on a nice warm day, especially camping or laying out on the beach! Excited to batch this up as a refreshing drink at Coachella this year and definitely all summer long. 🌺🥥
