BACH WEEKEND IN VEGAS

For those of you that have been around for a while, you know Vegas is somewhere I have learned to love. I went for my 25th birthday and that really changed everything for me. I understood the hacks of having a promoter and the power of being a woman in Vegas.
This time around we did not have a promoter and were just going in blind for the vibes and the adventure. My best friend, Katie, and I were celebrating her sisters bachelorette. The theme was Last Rodeo, very similar to my own sisters bachelorette, which felt so special they shared this similarity.
First thing we did on Friday was a bungee workout class. Not something I had on my bingo card but it was definitely something I am glad I did at least once. It was definitely a workout and a big exercise on trusting yourself and letting go. There was a lot of free falling and fun tricks. My favorite thing we did was the handstand, mostly because it was the only thing I was good at.
After the class Katie and I snagged a quick bite before heading to the hotel. We were staying at the Paris hotel, which I had never been to. Her mom got a bunch of decor and we spent the evening setting up while her sister and her friends were getting ready to go out to dinner.
We originally wanted to surprise her but the timeline got a little shifted but we made it work! We got cute pics of her in the room before she was fully ready.
We got ready for the night as the rest of the girls were out to dinner. I don't really have a whole lot of "clubbing" clothes anymore so I did a little outfit repeat from my 25th birthday.
It really is insane being like 6'2 in heels and wearing a bright blue dress. The one thing that really bugs me about this dress is the lining. I thin you technically should wear it lower so the keyhole is over your belly button. Even at that point the dress lining isn't long enough. So i just basically wear it higher and scrunch it lol.
Our first stop of the night was Ice Bar. This was an experience I never considered but it was honestly so cool, no pun intended. We spent like 30 minutes having a drink and taking pics. We also may or may not have forced the bride to take an ice luge shot.
They give you a jacket and gloves and you reuse the ice cup for every drink you order. We got tickets via Groupon for like $13 so not too bad and a fun lil experience.
After Ice Bar we started walking towards Caesar's to get ourselves closer to our late evening plans. Katie and I knew we wanted to try to get into Omnia, the club we thought we loved last time. After seeing it we were so wrong, it had to be a different club lol. We saw so many clubs and hotels that year, its all such a blur.
Either way we wanted to see if her sister and her friends wanted a nightcap or to see one more bar. Everyone felt like calling it a night or going off to gamble at the hotel.
We needed a proper dinner before all this drinking, so we hit the food court in full clubbing clothes. That was such a silly experience but a girls gotta eat. We took care of ourselves by eating a giant chicken sandwich from Guy Fieri's Chicken Guy.
When we were wandering through the hotel we got handed drink tickets to a speakeasy bar called Cassian. It was really cute and the drinks were great. Unfortunately, we were not the biggest fans of the vibe of the live music but it was a nice stop and a great free drink.
Whether we got into Omnia or not, we had tickets to another club but wanted to try and make Omnia work. We ended up finding men to pay for VIP to get us in. They also got us some drinks and danced with us so it was overall a successful night. Vegas is such a scary beast lol.
The next morning we were luckily not struggling from a hangover just more or less tired from a late night. We got some breakfast and coffee from lobby for an incredible $25 each. Nonetheless, we at quickly and head up to the hotel pool to meet our group for the cabana.
The view of the Eiffel Tower in the pool is sort of insane and a fun vibe, I cannot lie. The sun came and went but it was definitely hot. If you were not staying hydrated, it could go downhill quickly.
Around 4 we head back up to the room to decompress and relax before getting ready for dinner. I got a baby nap in and then quickly showered and got ready for another night on the town.
The weekend ended at Ole Red, a country bar/restaurant, apparently owned by Blake Shelton. My feet were practically numb so I was grateful to be in cowboy boots. Also, the way Vegas clubs no longer require heels, and cowboy boots are allowed now, is like wild. I am grateful but wow hahaha. Anyways, I really did deep down want to go out for another full night but we had decided we were leaving really early to avoid traffic back home. The idea of being extra sleep deprived, potentially hungover, and driving home sounded heinous.
We were conflicted with being this beautiful and young once and wanting to get beauty sleep and feel prepared for the week. Is this the difference between 22 and 28?
Nonetheless, it was a great weekend and it does remind me of my love for having fun in Vegas. Katie and I remembered we talked about the "perfect" way to do Vegas. Either arrive Thursday and go out Thursday and Friday and relax Saturday. OR arrive Friday, go out and then only do a day club on Saturday and have an early night. We will have to experiment with this the next time around and report back!
