PERFECT DAY IN PALM SPRINGS

Em and I decided to take a day trip to Palm Springs for fun and get some Instagram content. It was so much fun spending quality time together. We had to start the trip off with some coffee and road trip music. Luckily Palm Springs is a little under 2 hours away so it wasn’t too far for a day trip.

50770 Seminole Dr, Cabazon, CA 92230

Our first stop was the Cabazon Dinosaurs, of course. If you wanna do some shopping nearby the Cabazon Outlets are another popular stop.

Lunch absolutely had to be the next stop. We were more than ready. We ate at the Parker Hotel.

Not going to lie Parker Hotel was hard to find. We ended up across the street totally lost. The sign was a little hidden but we eventually found it with the help.

We pull up and you have to do valet parking which was $8 with validation from the restaurant.

The food was pretty good and the vibe was nice. I will say though… we may have gotten a little sick from the food HAHA. Can’t say for sure but I honestly wouldn’t go here again anyways. The food was, of course, expensive but you do get a little free smoothie lol. The service was decent it was just suuuuuuper slow. We spent a good 30-40 minutes waiting for our check after finishing our food, even though it wasn’t busy.

You have to be staying at the hotel to actually go back into some of the cool photo areas in the back. So overall, maybe just hit a restaurant somewhere downtown.

This spot was right at the front of the hotel next to the valet. We finally got out of there and then drove to the Coachella sign.

Grapefruit Blvd & Avenue 54, Thermal, CA 92236

I had a problem finding the exact location so I’m gonna help you out and put the address for the sign. I found this sign to be one of the safer ones to stop and take photos at. We parked in a business center and walked a little ways away.

So the Coachella sign is a bit aways away from Palm Springs ( about 30 minutes) so by the time we made it back, it was golden hour. We drove past this empty parking lot and thought it would be perfect for a little sunset action.

Next, we hit the bar for a drink and to chill. It was a long day. We ended up at Birba, along the popular downtown street.

The painting behind me is the actual artist who draws for Bob’s Burgers. Like how cool.

At the very end of the night, we walked upon a little mini street fair. So of course, we had to get a funnel cake. The perfect end of the day.

Then we headed home and knocked out cause it was a looOOoong day.

I figured I would include the list of things we wanted to see but just didn’t have enough time in the day for it.
