EASY AND CREAMY CARAMEL APPLES

These are one of mine and Zacks favorite treats. This is one of the easiest ways to make a more complicated recipe. It is literally only 3 ingredients plus whatever toppings you like!

Ingredients

  1. 1 tbs Heavy Cream

  2. 4 bags Soft Caramel Candies

  3. Medium Sized Granny Smith Apples

  4. 2 cups Crushed Peanuts

Begin by cleaning your apples and stabbing sticks through the top of the apples.

Next, prep your toppings. I did crushed peanuts so, I obviously just put them in a ziploc and crushed them up. Make sure you have those ready to go and whatever else you would like.

Also, prep your baking sheet with parchment paper. You are going to place your apples on this once you have them dipped.

In a small nonstick pot, melt together the caramel candies and heavy cream over low to medium heat. Stir fairly constantly.

Once its melted, get your apples and dip them in. Use a spoon if you are having difficulty getting the entire apple coated.

Straight away dip your apple into your toppings.

Then, place the apples on the baking sheet. Once you are done pop them in the fridge until you’re ready to eat them.

Slice your apples by just cutting straight across on each side of the stick.

I also dressed up this ice cream with a slice of caramel apple. You don’t have to just eat it alone. Anyways, I think this is a really amazing and simple snack to bring to a summer party. It looks so impressive, especially if you add more toppings.

Leave below some of your favorite summer snacks!
