HONEY CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

This recipe is really simple and straightforward! The most "difficult" aspect is remembering to set your cream cheese and butter out to soften. The rest is basically letting your stand mixer do all the work!

INGREDIENTS

¾ cup Unsalted Butter, softened

2 cups (16 oz) Cream Cheese, full-fat and softened

⅓ cup Honey

2 tsp. Vanilla Extract or Paste

⅛ tsp. Salt

1-2 tbs. Heavy Cream

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. In a stand mixer, with the paddle attachment, whip together the cream cheese and butter on medium speed until light and fluffy. About 5 minutes. Occasionally scrape down the sides.

  2. Add the honey, vanilla paste, salt, and heavy cream.

  3. Whip for another couple minutes until incorporated.

Use to frost a cake, cupcakes, or whatever you want! You can even use it as a sweet dip on a charcuterie board. I personally used it to frost my Vegan Vanilla Cardamom Cake.
