MOTHER'S DAY

Gifts for parents can be so difficult. I try to make my gifts very thoughtful and more of an experience when possible! The perfect surprise gesture for Mom is taking away the thing she hates doing. Whether that's cleaning the whole house, laundry for little siblings, or cooking.

I don't know about you guys, but what my mom dislikes the most, is cooking. Or rather, deciding what to eat. For Mother's Day, I decided to take that struggle away from her for 24 hours straight. To make that clear for her I drafted up this cute 5x7 card to make it clear from the beginning of the day, her gift is the gift that will keep on giving all day.

So breakfast started off light because this Mother's Day, we had the kiddos (my niece and nephew) in the morning and had to drop them off.

My brother made a brioche French toast with bacon and frittata. Delish!

Once we got back from dropping off my niece and nephew, we settled in and got Margs going. My dad and I made a pitcher of Watermelon Margaritas.

My mom got to spend the whole day being waited on! At the end of the day, she said the only thing that could make it better was if it was every day!

Breakdown of our day!
