"Caramel" sauce being poured into a bowl, forming swirls. The smooth, caramel-colored mixture has a glossy texture. No text visible.

If you're looking for a truly easy dipping sauce that resembles caramel and tastes nutty, this is the exact sauce you need. I got this recipe from Well Made By Kiley when I made her Buttermilk Apple Dippers, also on my blog here.

INGREDIENTS

¼ cup Maple Syrup

3 tbs. Almond Butter, smooth and creamy

2 tbs. Coconut Oil, melted

Large pinch of salt

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Mix together the maple syrup, almond butter, coconut oil, and a large pinch of salt in a medium bowl, until well combined and smooth.

  2. You can adjust the runniness and saltiness to your liking by adding more maple syrup and salt, if desired (go off of your preferred taste)! I highly recommend adding more maple syrup if you want a more liquid-like consistency.

This recipe definitely leans more into a nutty dipping sauce but still delicious nonetheless. If you are looking for a classic caramel recipe, I have one on the blog as well!
